In this body of work, I am exploring the enigma of the symbol "S" known as the "Super S" or "Cool S". This mysterious symbol is recognized worldwide and can be found in schools, bathroom stalls, pop culture, graffiti, tattoos, etc. Its origins are unknown, It is ubiquitous and eternal. The symbol can be considered a banal part of human nature, a mere doodle. For me it is much more. I have made it my mission to explore all of it's deeper meanings and complexities. It represents an existential campaign against normalcy.
